Olive trees are one of the most popular architectural Mediterranean plants with long branches of silver leaves and grey bark which depending on age becomes gnarled and full of character. In late summer they produce little Olives, however unfortunately they never ripen due to our short summer season.
Olives do extremely well in our climate, thriving in a sunny dry position. Our olive trees are very frost hardy.
Leaf colour: Silver.
Aspect: Full sun, partial shade.
Soil Tipe: Sand, chalk, clay or loam.
